You may encounter the following error when attempting to perform actions through the InfiniteWP Admin Panel:
HTTP Error 202: Accepted
The request is accepted for processing, but the processing is not complete.
This indicates that while the request has been received by the server, it hasn’t been completed due to an underlying issue.
This issue is commonly observed on SiteGround-hosted WordPress sites. SiteGround’s server environment may require CAPTCHA verification for certain types of automated requests.
When InfiniteWP sends requests to manage your site (such as updates, backups, or syncs), SiteGround intercepts them and triggers a CAPTCHA challenge. Since the request is automated and cannot complete the CAPTCHA, the server returns an HTTP 202 response, indicating that the request was accepted but not executed.
To resolve this issue, you need to whitelist your IWP Admin Panel installed server IP on the SiteGround server to bypass the CAPTCHA challenge.
Steps to Follow:
Identify your IWP Admin Panel IP address
This can typically be found from your hosting dashboard or using an online service like https://whatismyipaddress.com from the server where your IWP Admin Panel is hosted.
Contact SiteGround Support
Reach out to SiteGround support and request them to whitelist your IWP admin panel server IP address.
Confirm with SiteGround
Once the IP is whitelisted, test your InfiniteWP admin panel again to confirm that the issue has been resolved.
